a wedding at the piedmont room
Kate's maid of honor found me through Instagram because Kate didn't want the ~traditional wedding images~
She kept emphasizing to me that although we would take the classic posed images to satisfy their families, what they were really looking for was something creative + different. There's nothing better than having that freedom!
Based in Michigan, this was a destination wedding for their friends and families. The venue provided the most beautiful light and overlooked the iconic Piedmont Park. Everyone welcomed me in with open arms, passing me a glass of champagne for the pre-ceremony toast with the immediate family and wedding party!
The most beautiful part of the day to me was during the ceremony when Kate and James went to both sets of parents and embraced them. Not a dry eye in the room.
